Charlotte Russe, the national women's clothing retailer, will close and liquidate its chain of more than 500 stores this year, including a location in The Woodlands Mall at 1201 Lake Woodlands Drive. The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy last month with a plan to close 94 of its 512 stores. However, it announced March 7 that all stores would close. The Woodlands location estimated it would close in mid-April. The company’s website announced a going-out-of-business sale would begin immediately with all sales final.
