A new retail and dining center, University Commons, will open in Telfair in 2017 at the corner of University Boulevard and Hwy. 59 in Sugar Land. Vista Companies is building the property in two phases: Phase 1 will measure approximately 160,000 square feet. Phase 2 will encompass about 150,000 square feet and will be located across University Boulevard from Phase 1. No stores have been confirmed for Phase 2, and the site has not completed the city of Sugar Land’s zoning process. Phase 1 is under construction and the first stores will open in August.
