CSM Bakery Solutions closed its Sugar Land manufacturing center at 1 King Arthur’s Court on March 31. As a result, 147 employees were laid off and three workers accepted transfers to other company facilities, according a company spokesperson and a report from the Texas Workforce Commission. The Atlanta-based company sells products, including breads, brownies, cakes, cookies and baking ingredients, to retail and food service markets.
