Missouri City will partner with the Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County with the goal of accelerating the Hunters Glen Park Trail project.
What’s happening?
At a June 1 meeting, the Missouri City City Council approved an interlocal agreement with METRO to reconstruct the Hunters Glen Park Trail project to include an all-weather, ADA-accessible paved trail for pedestrians, cyclists and persons using wheelchairs, after the city received a $1.1 million from the Transportation Policy Council.
The federal funds were given to the city on the condition that they could complete the grant agreement process before fiscal year 2025-26 ends Sept. 30.
