Fort Bend ISD's student-run restaurant, The Grill, located at the James Reese Career and Technical Center, reopened to the public Oct. 12.
The Grill offers dine-in and carryout service from 2:30-5 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The restaurant's menu features a number of in-house, handmade dishes and limited selection from Sugar Land-based Pepperoni's.
“The combination of locally developed entrees and Pepperoni’s menu items will benefit both our customers and our culinary students,” said Meredith Wattasek, FBISD career and technical education director, in a news release. “Customers get a variety of items from which to choose, and our students gain real-world knowledge of working for a franchise.”
Restaurant guests can enter The Grill using door A3 labeled "Restaurant" at the Reese Center. Orders must be picked up by 5 p.m., and payments can be made by credit card or mobile device.
