Fort Bend ISD received a B rating, an 89 out of 100, in the Texas Education Agency’s accountability ratings for the 2021-22 school year, the district announced on Aug. 15.
That score matches what FBISD earned during the 2018-19 school year, when the TEA last dispensed ratings before the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, according to the announcement.
In the 2021-22 ratings, FBISD received an A rating, 90 out of 100, for its graduation rate as well as for academic growth. Meanwhile, FBISD received an 89 for its relative performance regarding the percentage of students considered economically disadvantaged and an 88 for closing achievement gaps.
In total, 26 schools in FBISD received an A; 39 received a B; and nine received a C.
