- Aug. 21: 106 cases
- Aug. 22: 240 cases
- Aug. 23: 0 (no new case information reported on Sundays)
- Aug. 24: 606 cases
- Aug. 25: 5 cases
- Aug. 26: 116 cases
- Aug. 27: 29 cases
Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, FBCHHS has reported a total of 14,790 coronavirus cases. Of those, the county estimates 11,148 people have recovered from the virus and has confirmed 148 have died from it.
From Aug. 21-27, FBCHHS confirmed the deaths of 15 Fort Bend residents. During this same time frame, the number of patients with confirmed or suspected cases of the coronavirus in Fort Bend County hospitals each day ranged from 68-77, down slightly from numbers recorded the week prior, according to data from the Southeast Texas Regional Advisory Council.
