Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center will celebrate its 10th anniversary with a soccer-inspired birthday bash May 30 at 11 a.m., officials announced in a news release.
What to expect
The birthday bash will feature appearances by Fort Bend Children’s Discovery Center CEO Rayanne Darensbourg and Sugar Land Mayor Carol McCutcheon, as well as hands-on activities for Fort Bend County families, per the release.
The celebration will also feature a symbolic “10 Goals for 10 Years” kickoff celebration as committee members score 10 soccer balls into the net.
Other activities include:
- Custom coloring pages by event partner Mercedes-Benz of Sugar Land
- Juggling acts and circus-inspired entertainment by Mr. Cirque
- Music by DJ Tyler
- Balloon animals
- A confetti party
