The Klein Farmers Market is set to hold its grand opening Oct. 24, founder Jessica Wilcox confirmed. Moving forward, the market will take place on the first and third Saturdayss each month from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.

The market will operate on the first and third Saturdays each month, featuring a variety of local farmers, ranchers, food producers, bakers, artisans, makers and small businesses, Wilcox said in a statement.
The goal is to “create a recurring community market where Klein-area families can shop locally, support small businesses and producers, and connect with their community,” Wilcox said.
Wilcox, who is also the owner of local small business Wander Stamped, decided to create the market after noticing local vendors struggling to consistently attend “oversaturated or extremely competitive” nearby markets, according to the website. Having a market in the Spring-Klein area will help create a “community-focused space” for vendors who haven’t found a “consistent market home,” per the website.
