March 23: Read with furry friends

Read with therapy dogs Leopold, Angel, Bear, Beaux and Odi at this Wags and Tales event hosted by the Barbara Bush Library. This children’s program has been held outdoors due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic but will be moving indoors in March. Take story time to a new level with a few helping paws from Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs. March 25: Wine and dine

Delve into the world of fine dining at this wine tasting dinner hosted by Elm & Magnolia in Old Town Spring. Attendees will enjoy a special four-course dinner paired with a four-wine flight prepared by owners Joe and Maria Macri—who formerly owned Black Sheep Bistro. March 26: Attend a concert for a cause

March 26: Enjoy Irish entertainment

Get swept away to Ireland during this music and dance performance by the Celtic Angels Ireland hosted by the Cypress Creek Foundation for the Arts and Community Enrichment. Musical artists Vicky Kenny, Amy Penston, Eimear Crealey, Sari Greenburg and Muirgen O’Mahony make up the Celtic Angels troupe and will be joined on stage by the Celtic Knight Dancers and the Trinity Band Ensemble of Dublin. 8 p.m. $30-$60. March 30: Serve up ‘New Girl’ Knowledge

Binge all seven seasons of the television show “New Girl” before heading to trivia night at Little Woodrow’s in Tomball. Prizes will be awarded for best team name as well as first, second and third place for the most correct answers. April 8-9: Peruse handmade quilts

Walk through a display of more than 100 handmade quilts at this “Joy of Quilting” show hosted by the Klein United Methodist Church’s Piecemakers quilting club. Quilts will be available for sale along with other boutique items from the club and items from local businesses. 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Admission is $5 or five cans of food to be donated to the Klein UMC food pantry. April 8-24: Shakespeare it up

Watch a play that is one part Shakespeare and one part 1930s Hollywood in this Playhouse 1960 production of “Shakespeare in Hollywood” under the direction of John Sallinger. Vaccinated attendees do not have to wear masks; however, masks are recommended for unvaccinated individuals and volunteers while indoors.
