Kinsmen Lutheran Church Thanksgiving
Join Kinsmen Lutheran Church to celebrate Thanksgiving this year beginning with a bilingual Thanksgiving Eve worship service on Nov. 22. On Nov. 23, festivities will continue with the church’s 12th annual Run for Your Turkey 5K/10K walk or run through the Greenwood Forest neighborhood followed by the 14th annual Community Thanksgiving Feast. Proceeds from the Run for Your Turkey event will help fund the Thanksgiving Feast, which is free and open to the community. To register for Run for Your Turkey, click here. Volunteers are needed to help Northwest Assistance Ministries deliver meals to more than 900 homebound seniors on Thanksgiving morning. Each volunteer will receive three to five meals to deliver, and areas serviced will be Jersey Village and Harris County.
