As many Greater Houston-area school districts have extended spring break another week amidst coronavirus concerns, both Spring and Klein ISDs are providing free meals for children 18 years old or younger March 16-20.
In SISD, families will be able to pick up breakfast and lunch March 16-20 between 8-11 a.m. at the following school sites:
- Anderson Elementary, 6218 Lyngate Drive, Spring
- Bammel Elementary, 17309 Red Oak Drive, Houston
- Booker Elementary, 22352 Imperial Valley Drive, Houston
- Clark Primary, 12625 River Laurel Drive, Houston
- Claughton Middle, 3000 Spears Road, Houston
- Hoyland Elementary, 2200 Wittershaw Drive, Houston
- McNabb Elementary, 743 E. Cypresswood Drive, Spring
- Meyer Elementary, 16330 Forest Way Drive, Houston
- Ponderosa Elementary, 17202 Butte Creek Road, Houston
- Reynolds Elementary, 3975 Gladeridge Drive, Houston
- Smith Elementary, 26000 Cypresswood Drive, Spring
Children must be present for families to receive the grab-and-go meals, which will be available at the drive-thru area in front of each campus. For more information,
click here. In KISD, families will be able to pick up a full week’s worth of breakfasts and lunches on March 16-17 between 8-11 a.m. Curbside meal pickup locations include the following school sites:
- Klein Intermediate, 4710 W. Mount Houston Road, Houston
- Mittelstadt Elementary, 7525 Kleingreen Lane, Spring
- Schultz Elementary, 7920 Willow Forest Drive, Tomball
- Wunderlich Intermediate, 11800 Misty Valley Drive, Houston
KISD children 18 years old and younger must be present for families to receive the free meals, but children are not required to bring a student ID. For more information,
