"Our children need good nutrition year-round so they can learn, grow and succeed in life," said Tiffany Muecke, interim director of Nutrition and Food Services. "With nearly 2 million children with food insecurities living in Texas, these health meals are vital to nourishing young Texans during the summer vacation."
KISD will distribute summer meals at 28 district sites in accordance with the following schedule:
