Video game enthusiasts attending Lone Star College-Houston North Fallbrook can now earn a certificate in eSports Management, according to a Jan. 30 LSC news release.

LSC-Houston North Fallbrook launched an eSports Management track under its Business Administration Program's associate of applied science degree, according to the release. ESports represent a multibillion-dollar industry for competitive video gaming and organized events.
“Lone Star College-Houston North Fallbrook realized eSports is no longer a hobby,” said Jarvis Goodman, LSC-Houston North Fallbrook eSports assistant professor, in a statement. “It is one of the newest and fastest-growing career fields. Students will learn about the eSports field and the concepts it takes to seek a career on the business (marketing and management) side.”
