Owner Alexandra Astacio said Buren Bakery is expanding with a new location within the same shopping center the bakery originated in. The date of the expansion is undetermined as of press time.

The details

Per previous Community Impact reporting, Buren Bakery was founded in June 2024 to celebrate Puerto Rican heritage with authentic baked goods and coffee.

A few menu items include:

Pan Sobao, a traditional Caribbean white bread often accompanied by a fresh cup of coffee.
Quesitos, a puff pastry filled with cream cheese and finished with simple syrup.
Mallorcas, enriched yeast rolls topped with powdered sugar.

The new location features a larger indoor dining space for patrons to enjoy and will offer new menu items.
