Located near the intersection of Cypresswood Drive and I-45, Mobile Audiology of Houston provides care for hearing loss, deafness, tinnitus and other ear-related conditions. Nader said the business offers in-clinic and in-home hearing exams for adults, hearing aid fittings, screenings, and repair and maintenance services.
She told Community Impact while many private clinics and retailers dispense one manufacturer, hers offers a selection of hearing aid devices from all major manufacturers.
Nader said she’s been providing mobile services with in-home visits for about a year, but she wanted to open a brick-and-mortar space so she could have a “controlled acoustic environment” for testing. As a Spring-area resident, she said she wanted to serve her neighbors and keep the physical clinic local.
“A lot of times, if somebody can’t leave their home, any kind of care outside of direct medical care, like is my heart pumping, is just put to the wayside,” Nader said. “If they know that there is an option and how important hearing health is, as it is related to dementia and cognitive health, I think if there is an option for me to come to them they’d be happy to take it.”
