At Trinity Falls in McKinney, there’s always something new to discover.
From new neighborhoods and home designs to expanded amenities and more than 1,700 homes planned across future sections, the 2,000-acre master-planned community is entering an exciting new chapter of growth while maintaining the beauty and connection that residents love.
“We’re continuing to grow in a very intentional way by adding new neighborhoods, home choices, amenities and conveniences while preserving the connection to nature and community that has defined Trinity Falls from the beginning,” said C’Ella Clayton, director of marketing.
What new homes and neighborhoods are coming to Trinity Falls?
In May, Trinity Falls opened a new section featuring a Perry Homes model, showcasing the builder's latest designs and floor plans. The new homes sit on 45-, 50- and 60-foot homesites, with floor plans ranging from approximately 1,600 to 3,000 square feet.
The community is also celebrating the October debut of Chesmar Courtyards, a new model home destination featuring four models near Olympic Crossing. For those seeking more space, Chesmar Homes offers floor plans ranging from approximately 1,908 to 2,298 square feet on 60 -foot homesites, with prices starting in the high $300,000s.
David Weekley Homes is also joining the builder lineup at year's end, bringing additional single-family home designs, while the Del Webb 55-plus neighborhood continues to expand with a new section underway.

Clayton said the additions build on Trinity Falls' already diverse housing options.
“That diversity is important because today's homebuyers aren't all looking for the same thing,” Clayton said. “We want Trinity Falls to offer options for first-time buyers, growing families, move-up buyers and active adults, and even give multiple generations of a family the opportunity to live within the same community.”
What new amenities are coming to Trinity Falls?
New amenities that give residents more convenient options to incorporate health and wellness and recreation into their daily routines are another major part of Trinity Falls' next chapter.
This fall, the community is opening an additional fitness center at The Club amenity center. Clayton said Del Webb is also preparing to break ground on another amenity center.
These additions complement Trinity Falls' existing amenities, including:
The Lodge and The Club amenity centers
Resort-style pools and splash pads
Fitness room and coworking spaces
Pickleball courts and playgrounds
Scenic lakes and 5 miles of walking trails
Old Joe Dog Park
21- hole disc golf Course
The 350-acre B.B. Owen Park
“The homes may bring people to Trinity Falls, but the connections they make here are what help turn a neighborhood into a community,” Clayton said. “That's why lifestyle programming has always been such an important part of the Trinity Falls experience.”

The on-site lifestyle team hosts more than 75 opportunities throughout the year for residents to gather, have fun and meet their neighbors.
At the same time, signature events like the Trinity Falls Trail Day 5K and Tour of Trees open the community to the Greater Dallas-Fort Worth area and create traditions people look forward to year after year.
“As Trinity Falls grows, we want those signature events to grow with us while continuing to introduce fresh experiences that reflect the interests of our residents,” Clayton said. “It's all part of Johnson Development's broader philosophy of creating places that give people meaningful reasons to connect.”
What other developments are planned near Trinity Falls?
Located just minutes from US 75 and US 380, Trinity Falls residents can easily reach major employment centers and shopping, dining, and entertainment, including Historic Downtown McKinney. The community’s peaceful, nature-focused atmosphere offers residents a balance between city accessibility and a retreat from the everyday hustle and bustle.
As more residents call Trinity Falls home, everyday conveniences are becoming increasingly important as the community grows. Clayton said new neighborhood retail inside the community is nearing completion, with a mix of service-based businesses and quick-dining options anticipated.
Education is also an important part of Trinity Falls’ long-term vision. The community was thoughtfully master-planned with three designated school sites, including Frazier Elementary School, which opened in 2023, and two additional sites reserved for future schools to support the area’s continued growth.
“Ultimately, that's what master planning is about: thinking beyond the homes being built today and considering the amenities, services, infrastructure and community resources residents will need tomorrow,” Clayton said.
Discover the next chapter of Trinity Falls
For prospective homebuyers, the latest additions offer more reasons to explore Trinity Falls, whether they're searching for their first home, planning for a growing family, considering a new lifestyle as an active empty nester or seeking multi-generational living with the opportunity to live in the same community as family.
For current residents, the community's continued investments mean there is still plenty to look forward to.
“Even with all that growth, you can still step onto a trail, spend an afternoon in B.B. Owen Park or gather with neighbors at an event and experience what has always made Trinity Falls special …,” Clayton said. “This next chapter isn't about changing that identity. It's about giving residents even more ways to experience it.”
