Austin Animal Center is offering $10 adoptions for all pets through Feb. 4 as a part of its “Adopt an MVP (Most Valuable Pet)” promotion, a press release from the shelter stated. The shelter is offering reduced prices to address overcrowding from a mid-January increase in intake. Normally $75, the discounted adoptions apply to all pets and includes spay or neutering procedures, vaccinations and microchip implants. Medium and large dogs are in the most need of adoption, according to the press release. Austin Animal Center is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
