Milestone Brands, formed in February by former Deep Eddy Vodka CEO Eric Dopkins and Deep Eddy Vodka co-founder Chad Auler, has previously acquired local organic tequila company Dulce Vida Spirits. The company plans to retain all current American Born Moonshine field sales employees, according to a news release by Milestone Brands. “American Born Moonshine is an amazing brand that represents the incredible history of American moonshine,” Dopkins said. “[Windy Hill Spirits co-founders] Pat Dillingham and Sean Koffel did a wonderful job bringing American Born to life in an authentic way, with quality and detail, and we are thrilled to be adding a brand to our portfolio that I truly feel will be a leader in its category.”
