Within the approximately 2.5 miles of South Congress Avenue between Slaughter Lane and Stassney Lane at least eight major developments—both residential and commercial—are being constructed or have recently been completed.

With over 670 residential units proposed as well as a new H-E-B and shopping center, the south end of the corridor should see significant changes within the next 2-3 years.

The developments along South Congress Avenue are being constructed at various rates. Some, like the Highmark Townhomes and All Stor Self Storage, opened this past summer. The Collective Austin is still under construction but accepted its initial tenants earlier this year. Other apartment and condo communities are slated to open by 2020.

The following information is based on estimates and projects details given to Community Impact Newspaper by the developers of each project. This list is not comprehensive.
