The Texas Department of Transportation announced the following Austin-area road closures Nov. 5. -Nov. 11. The following roads will be affected:
I-35 (Hays County)
- The inside lane of the northbound access road will be closed between Yarrington Road and RM 150 Monday and Tuesday 9 a.m-3 p.m.
- The inside lane of the southbound access road will be closed between Cabelas Drive and Robert S. Light Boulevard until further notice.
I-35 (Travis County)
- Various closures on the southbound access road between Onion Creek and Hays County 8 p.m.-5 a.m. Sunday-Wednesday.
- Various closures on the northbound access road between SH 45 and Slaughter Lane 8 p.m.-5 a.m. Sunday-Wednesday.
- The northbound outside lane will be closed between Onion Creek and the Slaughter Lane exit 9 p.m. Sunday-5 a.m. Monday.
- I-35 will be reduced to one southbound lane between 15th Street and 3rd Street 10 p.m. Sunday-5 a.m. Monday.
- The outside lane on the southbound access road will be closed between Concordia Avenue and Luther Lane 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday.
- The outside lane on the southbound access road will be closed between Barwood Park and Powell Lane 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday.
- The southbound access road will be reduced to one lane between William Cannon Drive and Slaughter Lane 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday-Friday.
- The outside lane on the southbound access road will be closed at Little Texas Lane for half a mile 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday and then Wednesday through Friday.
- The northbound outside lane will be closed at SH 45 from 9 p.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Tuesday.
- Southbound exit 235A for 15th Street/ML King Boulevard will be closed 10 p.m.-midnight Monday. Use exit 236 as an alternate route.
- The southbound outside lane will be closed between the 1st-4th Street exit (#234B) and 3rd Street midnight Tuesday-6 a.m. Wednesday.
I-35 (Williamson County)
- Various closures on the access roads in both directions at Hwy. 79 8 p.m. Monday-5 a.m. Tuesday. Police will direct traffic at signals.
