Two of the three races for Dripping Springs City Council will be contested this May, as of the 5 p.m. filing deadline Feb. 15. Incumbent Place 1 Council Member Taline Manassian will face off against resident Anthony Aristar for a seat on the council. Three candidates, including incumbent Travis Crow, filed to run in the Place 5 election, according to city staff. Challengers include residents Geoffrey Tahuahua and Stephen Randall. Place 3 Council Member Bill Foulds, who is the city’s current mayor pro tem, did not receive any challengers and will run unopposed in May. Here’s who is running in the election: Place 1
