The organization held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new book donation bin on July 7. The FODSCL, which was incorporated as a nonprofit in 1998, supports the library by organizing events and raising funds. Those interested in supporting the library can drop off donations in the bin at the Noble Tutoring Arbor Center.

The market in Dripping Springs is closing at the beginning of July due to “numerous challenges.”After opening last fall, the business faced several roadblocks, including staffing constraints, leadership turnover and rising costs, according to a Facebook post. The ownership team is “recalibrating and reimagining” Oakwood’s future.
