Cupprimo South, a cupcake and coffee shop, has rebranded and is expanding its offerings this spring.
What's happening
The South Austin dessert shop is now Rise Coffee & Bakery. Owner Jason Reis said he wanted to expand the coffee shop offerings, including adding menu items like kolaches, quiches and more savory food options. Reis also plans to source food fillings like cheese and sausage locally. The shop has a coffee bar with drip coffee, cold brew and espresso drinks.
Rise Coffee & Bakery will still serve cupcakes, but it will also offer new sweets like brownies and pastries. The business's catering menu will also expand.
