South Austinites can get a taste of Nashville this week.
Nashville-based hot chicken restaurant Hattie B’s will open on South Lamar Boulevard in the former Maria's Taco Xpress space Feb. 28.

Hattie B’s menu features hot chicken sandwiches, wings and tenders with varying heat levels, and pimento mac and cheese, crinkle-cut fries, baked beans and potato salad accompaniments. Dessert options include banana pudding, peach cobbler, root beer floats and Belgian-style waffles with honey butter and syrup.
