All-day, Australian-inspired cafe Citizens is now open in North Austin off Burnet Road.
The details
The cafe celebrated its grand opening May 24.
The new location marks the brand’s first location in Austin and also showcases the company’s new all-day concept, which includes dinner service for the first time.
Citizens offers a breakfast and lunch menu, a deli menu and a dinner menu with features including:
A Vegemite flight
Pancakes
Salads
Fish and chips
Chicken schnitzel
Sandwiches
Pastries and bagels
Pasta
Coffee
Cocktails

The first Citizens location opened in New York in 2016 by co-founders Justin Giuffrida and Andrew Geisel.
“There’s something a little magical about Aussie cafe culture—it’s laid-back, vibrant and full of unexpected flavor,” Geisel said in a statement.
