The Austin metro will gain a second IKEA location with IKEA Austin at The Domain in 2024.

The business announced a plan Jan. 17 to launch four stores across the country featuring a new format, plan and order points. A plan and order IKEA store allows customers to meet with an IKEA expert to plan and order furnishings for areas, such as kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms, according to the news release.
The new location will also feature a pickup point, giving customers the option to arrange for pickup of in-person and online orders.
