A new addition to the North Austin coffee selection, Patrick Lyle’s Kyoko Coffee is a Japanese-inspired micro coffee shop based out of a converted retro Honda minivan parked near the Highland Collective in North Austin. The menu features many prominent Japanese flavors, including ube, umami, matcha and miso. Curious coffee lovers can swing by to try some of the specialty sips weekdays between 8 a.m.-2 p.m. and Saturdays 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Harper SageAfter five years of online sales, Harper Sage opened its flagship brick-and-mortar women’s clothing store. The business boasts ethically sourced clothing lines, featuring small-batch pieces made in women-owned factories. The boutique carries an assortment of jumpsuits, dresses, tops, bottoms and accessories.
Coming SoonZeds Real Fruit Ice Cream
The New Zealand-style ice cream shop will serve its famous blend of soft-serve vanilla ice cream mixed with fresh fruit. Originally founded in Portland, Oregon, by The University of Texas at Austin graduates Matt Potter and Caleb Schmidt, the first Zeds location outside Portland opened in East Austin in July 2021.
