A new dance studio on South Lamar Boulevard is now offering partner dance lessons in swing, salsa and more.
Owned by Erin Frazier, Blue Moon Dance Co. opened on Oct. 14 near Kerbey Lane Cafe. From Utah, Frazier said she comes from a family of dancers and began practicing partner dance at an early age.
She moved to Austin in 2008 and was an instructor at another South Austin dance studio until it relocated north. She said it left a “giant hole in the South Austin dance community” and she hated the thought of not having a place to go. A student encouraged her to open a new studio.
