A number of resources for those fighting the cold this weekend were compiled and shared by Hays County.
County officials are also strongly urging residents to stay off roadways, which may be covered in ice as portions of the county received rain overnight, a news release said.
The Hays CISD Little Hope Box is next to Simon Middle School at 3839 E. RM 150, Kyle, and is full of food for those in need. Scarves and gloves may also be available.
The Austin Disaster Relief Network hotline can be reached at 512-806-0800 between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m., and can provide information on other church locations available as warming centers.
