The city of San Marcos—in partnership with Texas State University—is inviting the community to complete a transit study survey that will assist in the development of future transportation routes and support a public transportation system benefiting residents and visitors, according to a news release.
What you need to know
The study will give city and university officials an understanding of the community’s current needs and preferences to develop a more accessible and effective transit system. The survey will gather feedback relating to ride behavior, route efficiency, service gaps and overall satisfaction, the news release states.
The 10-minute survey is available online in English and Spanish at www.sanmarcostx.gov/bussurvey, and responses will be collected through Dec. 31.
