Veteran’s Day parade

The Veteran’s Day parade on Nov. 5 will force the closure of the following streets:

• East Hopkins Street from Charles Austin Drive to Guadalupe Street
• San Antonio Street from Guadalupe to CM Allen Parkway
• Guadalupe, LBJ, Edward Gary and CM Allen between San Antonio and Hopkins

Closures will last from 7 a.m.-noon.

Comanche Street

Construction maintenance on Comanche will force the road’s closure from Lindsey Street to Pat Garrison Street on Oct. 31 and Nov. 3 from 7 a.m.-2 p.m.

Hwy. 123 at RR 12

The southbound frontage road of I-35 from Hwy. 123 to RR 12 will have lane closures Oct. 30-Nov. 4 from 8 p.m.-5 a.m. Crews will be adding a guardrail and restriping lanes in the area.

Aquarena Springs Drive at Charles Austin Drive

Lane closures will take place throughout the day and night on eastbound Aquarena Springs from Charles Austin to Warden/Mill Street. The closures will take place Nov. 2-4 from 8 p.m.-5 a.m. and on Nov. 4 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Sessom Drive at North LBJ Drive

The LBJ Drive hike and bike project will cause some lane closures along Sessom from Aquarena Springs to North LBJ from 7 a.m.-4 p.m. daily through Jan. 1.

I-35 at the Yarrington Road bridge

The Yarrington Road bridge project is nearing completion, but ongoing construction will cause intermittent lane closures from 8 p.m.-5 a.m. Oct. 28-30.
