Officials from Hays County and the city of Kyle gathered Dec. 11 in an undeveloped lot at the corner of Kyle Crossing and Kohler's Crossing to celebrate breaking ground on the Kyle Crossing Business Park.
“When I look that direction, what I see is opportunity,” Kyle Mayor Travis Mitchell said during his remarks.
Developed by Majestic Realty, which has projects across the U.S., theKyle Crossing Business Park will be a two-building industrial and warehouse complex with a combined 535,113 square feet of space. Mitchell said the development is part of a plan to draw more jobs to Kyle.
“It’s the desire of the county and the city and the school district to work together to bring about the very best in commercial and residential development for the city of Kyle so that the people that live here can also work here and play here and grow families here and enjoy life here,” Mitchell said. “And that’s what this is really all about.”
