Photo by Annie Drabicky Darleen Bordelon opened The Motley Menagerie in Kyle in November 2003 as a combination tearoom and boutique.
The restaurant's menu items are made from Bordelon's recipes and include offerings such as creamy vegetable soup, quiche, bread, sandwiches and desserts. A wooden bookcase is stocked with dozens of glass canisters full of dried teas.
