A local candy shop in downtown San Marcos is closing its doors Friday after two years in business. In a Facebook post Tuesday, the owners of Candy, Sweets & Treats, located at 241 N. LBJ Drive, San Marcos, announced its closure. "Thank you San Marcos for all the support over the last 2-plus years. In order to focus on other ventures, Candy Sweets and Treats will be closing its doors by the end of the year," the post said.
