The Texas Department of Transportation will close Aquarena Springs Drive between Charles Austin Drive and Mill Street from 8 a.m. Sunday to 6 a.m. Monday as it continues work on the overpass. The closures are part of the ongoing construction of a $20.7-million overpass on Aquarena Springs over the Union Pacific Railroad Corp. tracks that cross the road. Crews will be setting steel bridge beams for the new overpass during the lane closures. The road also remains closed at night until Sept. 19 between Charles Austin Drive and Mill Street.
