The San Marcos CISD board of trustees meets tonight to discuss the district’s fiscal year 2017-18 budget.
The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at the Central Administration Office, 501 S. LBJ Drive, San Marcos.
The Hays County Commissioners Court meets Tuesday at 9 a.m.
Among the items the court will consider is approval of a tri-party agreement among the county, the city of Kyle and developers of the planned 858.7-acre Blanco River Ranch subdivision west of Kyle. The agenda can be viewed here.
The San Marcos Planning and Zoning Commission meets Tuesday at 6 p.m.
The commission will consider approval of a final plat for 43.152 acres in the La Cima subdivision to be built on RR 12 near its intersection with Old RR 12. The commission will also consider approval of an allowance for a kennel within the T5 zoning district at 235 N. LBJ Drive, Ste. B. The kennel is associated with the Cattery Lounge, a cafe where customers can interact with felines up for adoption. The meeting takes place at City Hall, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos. The Kyle Planning and Zoning Commission meets Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
The commission will discuss items related to two subdivisions: Crosswinds, which would be built off Windy Hill Road, and a new subdivision that, if approved, would be located between Bunton Lane and Plum Creek. The commission meets at City Hall 100 W. Center St., Kyle. The agenda can be viewed here.
