All Buda residents and businesses are asked to adhere to water restrictions for Stage 3 drought as of Jan. 1, according to the city's website.
The U.S. Drought Monitor shows Hays County and surrounding areas in a “D3-Extreme Drought” as of Dec. 26.
What you need to know
Businesses and residents are advised to water only between the hours of 7-11 a.m. and 7-11 p.m.
Odd-numbered residences should only water on Wednesdays, and even-numbered residences should water on Thursdays only. Any commercial businesses or multifamily residences should water on Tuesdays only.
