On March 7, the city of Buda announced that Deputy City Manager Micah Grau will be the interim city manager, effective April 1, as longtime City Manager Kenneth Williams steps down from the position.
Williams announced his resignation, effective March 31, at a City Council meetingJan. 4, ending his 13 1/2-year career with the city.
The city was fortunate to have a leader like Williams during a time of great growth and economic development, Mayor Lee Urbanovsky said in a press release.
In the interim, the city hired Baker Tilly firm in the search for a new city manager. The firm has worked with City Council members to create the position description and selection process, according to the release.
