Over the last five years, the populations within the cities of San Marcos, Buda and Kyle have increased, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s 2022 American Community Survey 5-Year Estimates released Dec. 7.
In a nutshell
The population within San Marcos’ city limits grew from 59,935 to 67,143 from 2017 to 2022—or 12%—according to the American Community Survey 5-Year Estimates. Kyle grew to 48,484 residents and Buda grew to 14,997, according to the data.
