City officials celebrated the grand opening of two new splash pads located at Gregg-Clarke Park and Steeplechase Park with a ribbon cutting on May 9.
The details
The Steeplechase Park splash pad, located at 295 Hallie Drive, is approximately 2,300-square-feet and features a two-headed sunflower, two mushroom showers and water cannons, according to a news release.
Gregg-Clarke Park's splash pad, located at 1100 W. Center St., is 3,000-square-feet and is equipped with a water tower, rain wall, dumping buckets and custom hoops. Each splash pad also has shade canopies, benches and picnic tables.
