While the pandemic has limited in-person events, Texas State University has adjusted to virtual events and performances with nine different productions to be held across the spring semester. On Jan. 19, the university will also host a virtual celebration of Martin Luther King Jr.
Beginning at 4 p.m. on Zoom, the Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration's theme of "Dream Together" will challenge attendees to collaborate as they reflect on the civil rights leader's ideas and legacy, according to a news release.
Registration for the event can be completed online, and T-shirts are available for pickup for students with a TXST ID card while supplies last.
