Texas State University announced Feb. 10 that it has allocated $6.5 million for emergency grants for eligible students with COVID-19-related expenses.
Students can apply by completing a brief form on the Bobcat Cares website between Feb. 15-28, and students will be prioritized for assistance by their demonstrated financial need, the release said.
Students who submit an online application will be notified with two weeks, but not all students who apply may receive funding.
Full-time and part-time students enrolled in the current spring semester are eligible for the grants, which may be used for any component of the cost of attendance, such as tuition, fees, housing, food, books, supplies and travel expenses to and from Texas State campuses.
