Seven Hays CISD campuses are set to get new assistant principals for the 2024-25 school year, following the board of trustees’ unanimous approval of the new hires during a special meeting June 6.

The new hires are all already HCISD employees, according to Chief Communications Officer Tim Savoy.

- Julie Rosales, Hemphill Elementary
- Kirsten Stone, Kyle Elementary
- Missy Owens, Science Hall Elementary
- Jenne Brauchle, Tobias Elementary
- Sara Sparks and Stephanie Carter, Simon Middle School
- Yesenia Flores, Lehman High School
Savoy added that a few elementary and secondary assistant principal positions are still open. These positions, and other teacher or administration positions, are open to external candidates and can be found here.
