Voters residing in the Hays CISD area took to the polls to consider whether a $115 million bond package—Proposition A—will advance and who should represent them in District 4 and District 5 on the board of trustees.
Early voting results in Hays CISD show Byron Severance ahead of Amy Grant with 54.79% of the vote in District 4, incumbent Esperanza Orosco ahead of Bear Heiser with 64.10% of the vote in District 5 and the bond election a dead heat with 50.91% in favor.
The 6.3% voter turnout reported does not include any results from election day today.
