Students at Lehman High School now have access to new fine arts spaces as Hays CISD opened the Lehman Vertical Team Auditorium.
On Feb. 28, students, parents and community members were invited to the LVTA grand opening.
The overview
The grand opening event included dance, choir, mariachi, band and orchestra performances by students, with facility tours in between.

An 800-seat auditorium
A scene shop
Two classrooms
Storage

The funding
The renovation and expansion of the Lehman auditorium was funded by Proposition B of the 2023 voter-approved bond; $53 million was dedicated to this project.
