The groundbreaking for City Limits Subaru, a new dealership owned and operated by Julie Herrera and in partnership with the Cavender Auto Family is set for May 24 with a completion targeted for late summer 2023. The dealership is located in the Sunfield development in the city of Buda’s extraterritorial jurisdiction.
The Buda Planning and Zoning Commission in late 2021 approved the preliminary plat of land—which sits along the Hays-Travis county line—to be used for the dealership.
Since the development is located within the Sunfield development, water and wastewater services will be provided by the Sunfield Municipal Utility District.
Herrera, Toyota of Cedar Park Dealer principal and managing partner, said Buda was chosen as the location of the new dealership as Hays County continues to grow and added the Subaru brand does well in the Austin-area market.
