Hays County reported three new COVID-19 hospitalizations and 25 new lab-confirmed cases of the coronavirus March 31. The county also reported 26 recoveries, increasing the county's total to 16,547 recoveries.
A total of 17,150 lab-confirmed cases of the virus have been found among county residents since testing began, and an additional 1,890 probable cases have also been reported.
The number of cases considered active by the county within the last three weeks was 559, while active cases fell to 367.
There were 11 hospitalizations due to the virus as of March 31. The county has reported 791 coronavirus hospitalizations to date.
