Kyle-area residents will soon have a new 40,000-square-foot fitness center to utilize.
EōS Fitness will open a new location off Bebee Road, featuring strength-training and cardio equipment available to members 24/7.

2. Bee Cave issues cease and desist to developers near Sweetwater community
The city of Bee Cave issued cease and desist letters on July 24 to two developers of three properties along Hwy. 71 near the Sweetwater community after construction processes began without approval from the city, according to a Facebook post from the city of Bee Cave.
3. Woodside neighborhood developer proposes 500-home expansion to Sun City in Georgetown
Developer Blake Magee Company presented an updated plan for the Woodside Municipal Utility District, which includes a partnership with Pulte Group to expand Sun City’s active-adult community.
The project would annex the 162.5-acre Thompson Tract into city limits to build about 500 new age-restricted homes. Previously, the developer proposed the neighborhood addition without a commercial buffer or amenity center.
4. Conejo's Tex-Mex Cantina to hold soft opening Aug. 5
The business is locally owned by Bobby Joe Hernandez, chef Eduardo Miguel, and Matt and Sandra Morcher. It currently operates one other location in Leander.
The restaurant’s menu blends Mexican cuisine with Tex-Mex staples and Southern flavors. Offerings include tacos, fajitas, enchiladas, quesadillas and more.
5. Leander ISD committee proposes $591.2M-$708.5M 2026 bond
Leander ISD could see a multimillion dollar bond on the ballot in November, with projects that would address campus needs, safety and security, and technology.
Citizens' Facility Advisory Committee steering committee co-Chairs Rachel Lilla and Clint Pruett presented the bond project recommendations during the July 30 board meeting.
The board will decide later in August if the district will hold a November bond.

A new McDonald’s location is arriving in Sendero’s mixed-use development, bringing a second set of golden arches to Bastrop.
