A children's hair salon offering boys' and girls' haircuts in a fun environment will open in Kyle later this year.

Locally owned by Laurie Levano, Sharkey's Cuts for Kids will offer haircuts for ages zero to 14, "minicures" or mini manicures and hairstyling.
The salon will offer entertainment options such as themed car seats, video games, movies, lollipops and balloons.
